So clearly articulated, Drew. I appreciate that you are prepared to do the hard work of thinking through this hugely important matter.

very well written. your life experiences have left you with an indispensable, caring and intimate personal view on the humble but astute reality of listening over assuming. it seems both camps (of the yes or no) can't really explain WHY they want a change or not but guarantees they will be there to write either word on a bit of paper and put it in a box and feel proud they are making a difference...how ironically hypocritical have we become??!! From my experiences (growing up in Kalgoorlie in the 80's90's) I feel that without a genuine and well undersood treaty we are just recycling the same mistakes and same biases creating the same erroneous actions and words and all for what? are we AGAIN trying to merge two different paths into an homogenous guilt free society? as far as I can tell ..the best vote is a vote where you know what your voting for ..and not one person I've spoken to understand or know what they are voting for.... so I say if you don't Know what your voting for then U can't possibly vote yes.. why aren't the media educating the public on the true ramifications of a change to the constituion... we need treaty first..before any thing further..as you(drew) wrote ...it seems like we are set to make the same mistakes before we actually get to that point ,...I pray for a time where we again act like kids in that we don't see colour or socioeconomy or race, and we can all play together in this giant playground called earth...

Nice read Drew. To be honest, speaking for myself, the referendum is just a yes or no vote and nothing else has been spoken about it. Not enough information about there for anyone to make an informed decision. Pretty pathetic effort by the for and against to even educate us on what we are voting about. If someone really wants to know all the facts they can research it I guess. But I see black and white differences in information put out for a political party election or a referendum for daylight saving. That in itself it stupid. There should be more info out there for everyone. Thanks for this write up. It’s was very informative. Hope your keeping well mate!
